Caramel Pudding Recipe: A Simple & Delicious Dessert

-1 cup sugar
-2 cups milk
-1 tsp vanilla extract
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. In a saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar has completely melted and turns golden brown.
3. Pour the melted sugar into a baking dish or pudding mold.
4. In a bowl, whisk the eggs together. Add in the milk and vanilla extract, and continue to whisk until they are well combined.

6. Place the baking dish or pudding mold into a larger baking dish, and fill the larger dish with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the smaller dish.
7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the pudding.
8. Remove from the oven, and let it cool to room temperature.
9. Once cooled, place the pudding in the refrigerator to chill for at least an hour before serving.
10. To serve, run a knife around the edges of the pudding to loosen it from the dish. Invert the dish onto a serving plate, and voila! Your delicious caramel pudding is ready.
