1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides. Transfer the browned beef into the slow cooker.

2. Add the diced onions and minced garlic into the skillet and sauté until the onions are translucent. Add the sautéed onions and garlic into the slow cooker.
