The Best HAMBURGER Meatloaf: Instant Pot or Oven Friendly

Meatloaf is a classic dish that is enjoyed by many, but have you ever tried a hamburger meatloaf? This recipe takes the classic meatloaf and adds a twist by incorporating ground beef and classic hamburger toppings. The best part? This recipe can be cooked in either an Instant Pot or in your oven, making it suitable for any home cook.

Ingredients:
– 2 lbs. ground beef
– 3/4 cups bread crumbs
– 2 eggs
– 1/2 cup ketchup
– 1/2 cup diced onion
– 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
– 1/4 cup diced dill pickle
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tablespoon mustard
– 1 tablespoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions:

Instant Pot Method:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, ketchup, onion, green bell pepper, dill pickle, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are well combined.
2. Line an 8-inch round cake pan with aluminum foil, leaving enough overhang to lift the meatloaf out of the Instant Pot easily. Pack the meat mixture into the lined pan and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top (optional).
3. Pour one cup of water into the Instant Pot and place the trivet on the bottom. Place the meatloaf on top of the trivet and seal the Instant Pot.
4. Set the Instant Pot to manual, high pressure for 40 minutes. Once the cooking is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes before releasing the remaining pressure manually.
5. Carefully remove the meatloaf from the Instant Pot and discard the excess liquid. Serve hot.

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, ketchup, onion, green bell pepper, dill pickle, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are well combined.
