Meatloaf is a classic comfort food that many people associate with home-cooked meals. Turkey meatloaf is a healthy alternative compared to beef because it is lower in fat and calories. In this recipe, we will not only be using turkey, but we will also be adding a ketchup-brown sugar glaze on top to make it even more delicious. Here at Becky and Julia, we believe that using fresh ingredients is crucial to elevate any dish to the next level. So let’s get cooking!

– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 large onion, finely chopped
– 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
– 2 pounds ground turkey (93% lean)

5. While the meatloaf is baking, prepare the ketchup-brown sugar glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, or until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce has thickened slightly.

6. Ten minutes before the meatloaf is done, brush the glaze onto the top of the meatloaf. Put the meatloaf back into the oven and bake for another 10 minutes.

7. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
