Hey, I know it’s been months since my last post ๐ I kinda missed writing though. Anyway, 2020 been hard for most people, especially here in Bali where we rely on tourism and people been postponing their travelling plan. Basically, since March the tourism industries in Bali has suffered and lots of unemployment happened on the island.
Okay, I won’t talk about how quiet the tourism in Bali at the moment, but since it’s already November and finger crossed that the government will open the borders again and people can start travelling again on 2021. So, if you’re a family traveller, this post might suits you ๐ , this time I’m going to share some of the hotels here in Bali that suitable for family travellers like us that your kids will enjoy.

Please note that we’ve done all this staycation before the pandemic, please kindly check on each property for any safety measurements they’re doing. For a full review of each hotel, you can just click the property names on this blog. Ok, enjoy!
This hotel located in the heart of Seminyak area, the lobby was breezy and overlooking the ocean; totally a feast for sore eyes. For children, they give a nice cup of warm chocolate milk as a welcome drink. We stayed in Deluxe Ocean Suite, facing the picturesque Petitenget beach. The room was really spacious and cosy with adjacent living room and big en suite.

By looking at their room and bathroom amenities I feel that they pay attention to every detail to ensure guests’ convenient, in each room aside from the regular amenities like coffee and tea maker, etc; they also provide kids slippers for the little ones ( I find that kinda cute ๐ ), and as for bathroom amenities they fill each vanity with Alila Living signature amenities, special for men and women with fresh citrusy fragrant.
The best part of every staycation for our son is when it’s time to check the kids club. Here at Alila, I find that their kids’ club is really safe since they do not allow any adult to enter the premises except for the attendee. And the kids club also really clean, with lots of toys and have lots of interesting activities for kids.

This property has 3 swimming pools; an infinity adult pool for people who prefer some quiet time and no kids allowed; an infinity family pool with a mesmerizing view which located in front of our room and party pool on the beach bar. Nice isn’t it?! For us, it’s nice to have this kind of pool separation, so the kids can enjoy playing at the pool without worrying that they might disturb other guests.
As you know, Ubud is known for its laid back and close to nature’s ambience. Finding accommodation like Desa Visesa surely a change of scenery for us, this property is surrounded by the natural landscape and rice paddies that brings a traditional Balinese village feels.

We stayed in Visesa Suite; itโs a one-bedroom villa with our own private pool and small living room, small fish pond on the entrance really adds the serene ambience. This property has open-air gym and kids club with some traditional wooden toys and activities (I love the no-gadget concept), our son really love playing at their kids’ club, he did some paintings there :). They also provide bicycles if you want to take a ride around their property. They also have several activities like pony rides, permaculture farming, animal feeding, nature tracking, etc.

For us, it’s great to stay here and getting away from the city’s hustle and bustle, also a great outdoor experience and traditional activities for the little ones.
This resort was located in Tanjung Benoa, Nusa Dua. An area is known for water sports activities during the day like snorkelling, parasailing, banana boats, etc. We stayed in their One Bedroom Pool Villa, it has a private pool with built-in whirlpool and surrounded by lush greenery. The villa itself was quite big, it has a fully equipped kitchen with marble top dining table and a living room with a cozy fluffy couch that can be used as an extra bed for the little ones.

Aside from the pool in our villa, this resort also has a huge main pool with kids swimming pool in the lagoon pool area close by to their kids’ club. Talk about their kids’ club, itโs a spacious fully air-con kids club with lots of interesting toys, it also has a small lounge if they want to watch a movie or play console games, at the back of this kids club they provide a vast napping room with several bunk beds and baby cots for the little ones to take a nap during their playtime on the kids club. Next to the napping room, thereโs clean separated shower and toilet for boy and girl. You can enjoy your ‘me time’ at the spa while your kids play here.
This luxury beachfront resort was located in the heart of Kuta’s touristy area with the lavishness of Nusa Dua, and only minutes away from Ngurah Rai Airport, shopping malls and restaurants. We stayed in Premier King Lagoon Access room with its own private terrace that has direct access to the 1,2 meter deep pool lagoon. If you’re travelling with kids, it would be hard to keep them away from the pool, haha, but hey it’s much easier for us to keep an eye of them and I love the privacy.

Aside from the lagoon pool, they also have a main pool close by to the beach where they usually have water polo and volley activities in the afternoon. When it comes to the kids club, The Anvaya Kids Club really create a play sanctuary for the little ones, with their professional attendee, kids will be fully supervised during their playtime here. The kids club offers several activities such as traditional games, craft making, dance lessons, cooking class and many more.

They also provide extensive toys to play with, console games, library with a cozy reading corner. In this picture, the kids club might look a bit crowded since we stayed here during Nyepi, but when we went there again on a regular holiday, it was way less adult, and only the attendee :). Aside from the indoor kids club area they also have an outdoor area with swimming pool, swings, slides and climbing area. The outdoor area was completely secure surrounded by walls and only have one access through the indoor kids club area.
Montigo Resort Seminyak located in the heart of Petitenget area, surrounded by lots of well-known cafes, restaurants and shops. Also it only minutes walk from the nearest Petitenget beach. This resort has 3 pools, 1 public pool nearby the restaurant and lobby for hotel and restaurant guest. 2nd pool is nearby our room, it’s the main pool with adjacent kids pool, and the 3rd one is on the quiet area near the Garden Pool Suite, suitable for people who want to relax and enjoy some quiet time (definitely not for kids ๐ ).

The Garden Suites, as per its name our room has its own private garden surrounded by the tall bushes fence line and has a pathway to our private patio and it gives easier access to the main pool. One of my favourite facilities here is their Tillo Kids Club, our son really enjoyed his time here. The kids club is spacious with several different rooms like a movie room, game room, etc. They also have several activities for the kids, like games, making crafts, wearing Balinese traditional costumes and many more. During our stay, our son spends most of his time at the kids club, we can also order some food for him from the restaurant and he loves it.
