I’m gonna share our staycation experience at Montigo Resort Seminyak, it’s located in the heart of Petitenget, Seminyak surrounded by lots of restaurants, cafe and shops among other 5 stars hotels, villas and some of Bali’s famous beaches within walking distance.

As we walk into their lobby area, we are nicely greeted by their front office staff. Super friendly, and quite fast check-in process. While we’re waiting they offer us a nice and refreshing welcome drink, a perfect thirst quencher for Bali’s humid climate.

THE RESORT

The lobby was coloured with white and teal with chic nautical decor. After the check-in process, they escort us to our room. The bustling Seminyak atmosphere suddenly changed into a serene, breezy ambience surrounded by canopies of trees and lush greeneries.

We had a chance to explore the resort, amazingly they have 3 pools here. First pool located next to the Tiigo Restaurant, it’s the closest to the entrance and accessible not only for in-house guests but also for the restaurant’s guests. Next, the second pool was located near our room, they also have kids pool in this area along with a VW Combi that was transformed into a bar (Nice touch!). 

The third pool was located at the back part of this resort located in the Garden Pool Suite area, and it’s a quiet area where people we saw in this pool tend to relax, reading a book under the sun or just take a dip. It’s really a quiet area, I barely hear people talking here haha, but it offers a great spot to relax.

THE ROOM

We stayed in the Garden Suites, as per its name our room has its own private garden surrounded by the tall bushes fence line and has a pathway to our private patio.

The room itself was quite spacious, upon entering our room we notice a big wardrobe on one side and a spacious bathroom on the other side. What I love about the bathroom, not only it has a bathtub, but also it has his & her’s vanity unit, my husband and I can have our own space ;).

Moving forward we spot a big cosy sofa which they turned into a comfy extra bed for our son with a big TV in front of the sofa. On the other side of the living room / our son’s sleeping space, is a big comfy and fluffy bed.
Another thing that I love from the room was that they have a big desk, so it was quite useful for me to finish some work during my holiday.

FACILITIES 

Montigo Resort, Seminyak has several facilities that can accommodate the guests during their stays like fully equipped GYM, Spa, Yoga Class, Kids Club and Restaurant.

On the 2nd day of our stay, we had the luxury to enjoy 60 minutes Montigo Massage. Once we arrived at the spa, they served refreshing welcome drinks and asked us to fill up some forms for our preference for the treatment and choose the massage oil scent.
The massage was focusing on relieving muscle tension and ache with a mix of Hawaiian long stroke and Swedish kneading massage technique. The result was a super relaxing and all the back and shoulder ache was relieved 🙂

Another facility that we really love here is their Tillo Kids Club! Our son really loves to play there, the kids club was spacious and have several rooms like a game room, movie room etc. They also have several activities for the kids, like games, making crafts, wearing Balinese traditional costumes, etc.

And as for the restaurant, they have an all-day dining restaurant called Tiigo, located in front of their lobby, where they served International and classic Balinese food. I will share about the restaurant on a different post :). Breakfast was served here at Tiigo, they offer an extensive buffet menu, selections of fresh pastries, pancakes, waffles, etc.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, we love the suite, our spa session, dining options and especially for the kids club, our son really loves playing there, the staff were nice, friendly and really helpful. Oh and the best of all, the staff greeted the guest by their names, it was quite surprising for me and love the personal touch, they even greet my son by his name. Once again it was a really nice touch! Good Job Montigo Resort!
