Our Story at Seminyak Beach Front Resort, Alila Seminyak

Welcomed by the ocean breeze, we arrived at Alila Seminyak with their friendly staffs greet and help us with the check-in procedure. Their open air lobby was really a feast for our eyes with its luxury and hip designs overlooking the ocean, it truly lit up our holiday mood.

After freshen up with their welcome drink and a cup of chocolate milk for our son we were taken to our Deluxe Ocean Suite room that located on the 1^st floor.

THE ROOM

As we enter the room, it was big and really spacious for a family traveler with a little boy like us. The room has a big and cozy living room, with a big screen IPTV where you can find all the information you need from property info, room service menu, weather and much more.

This room also came with a roomy bathroom, it has a bathtub, rain shower, walk-in closet, and his and her vanity complete with their signatures Alila Living amenities like lotions, sunscreen, after sun lotion and insect repellent for men and women with a fresh citrusy fragrant.

I just love how they designed the room in warm tone with modern design and wooden accent; it really brings the cozy ambiance. The room was facing the ocean; we can sit on the daybed and enjoy the sunset from our balcony. During the day we love to slide opens the door to fully extend the room and enjoy the cool breezy air in our room.

FACILITIES

Overall this property has 3 swimming pools an infinity adult pool for people who prefer some quiet time and no kids allowed; an infinity family pool with a mesmerizing view which located in front of our room and party pool on the beach bar.

Since we’re traveling with a kid, we can only use the family pool and party pool. We just love to enjoy our afternoon watching the sunsets on their infinity family pool, they also give compliment cold water bottles, sunscreen, face spray and after sun gel… Aaah what a treat 🙂

24 hours gym, morning yoga, access to the kids club and daily shuttle to Seminyak Square are also some of their complement facilities.

The kids club called Play Alila is one of my son’s favorite facilities; nice and clean with lots of toys and they have nice and friendly attendee that accompanied my son during his playtime here.

DINING

When morning comes we head down to SeaSalt Restaurant that located next to the kids club. I love the chic décor with turquoise and beige color; it feels calm and really brings out the coastal theme. This beach front restaurant offers a buffet menu for breakfast along with some a la carte options like several eggs selections, pancakes and much more.

For lunch and dinner, SeaSalt Restaurant serves Japanese infusion dishes with fresh seafood selections and sea salt as one of their main inspiration. One of their signature dishes is the tantalizing White Snapper fish baked and buried under a crusted pile of sea salt.

Aside for SeaSalt they also have Beach Bar that sits in front of the beach with a pool that suits for private party or afternoon sunset time. (Read more about Seasalt here)

It was an unforgettable stay for us, cozy room, warm and friendly service, amazing dining experience and with its strategic location surrounded by lots of Seminyak stylish boutiques, cafés and restaurants make it easy for us to stroll around the area.
