Frestro Restaurant & Bar had become one of Petitenget’s fresh culinary additions, with menu designed by one of Indonesia’s rising Chef Mandif Warokka. All dishes were crafted from the freshest and finest ingredients produce from local farmers to satisfy the diners’ dining experience.
With its sophisticated interior and wall-to-wall glass façade upon entrance, Frestro brings luxury and urban ambiance in the heart of Seminyak that will feast your eyes once you enter the restaurant.
All the dishes were made in their open kitchen that enables us to see the cooking process. House-made pasta is one of their signatures so we definitely want to tried it; we opt for their Wagyu Beef Bolognese (130K) served with sweet tomato and red wine reduction that brings out the classic and fresh Bolognese sauce.
And from their wood fire oven, they have several selections of pizzas from the classic Margarita pizza to unique cured salmon pizza. Well for the pizza we choose their House Cured Salmon (135K), the thin crust pizza was topped with cured salmon, béchamel sauce, spinach, free range egg and mozzarella that was deliciously good and great for sharing.
For the little ones you can ask for their kids menu, with some pastas and pizzas selections that come with soft drinks or juices. They will also give some coloring papers and color pencils to keep them entertained.
So far we like Frestro & Bar because of the good food and their great ambiance. They also have really great cocktail selections and with its ambiance I think it’ll suits for an after office cocktail time with friends.
