Located only a few minutes from the airport Eden Hotel stood in the midst of busy Kartika Plaza Street, Kuta. This city hotel has a casual and relaxing ambiance, surrounded by lush greenery that creates a laid back and serene atmosphere for their guests.
As we entered the lobby, my son was so thrilled to see the playground and kids club so he went there while I do the standard check-in procedure. This hotel had total 277 rooms comprise of 259 Eden Room and 18 Eden Suites.
The Room
We headed to our room that was located on the 5th floors; the room was decorated with a contemporary design in neutral tone with white, green and beige color. On the head of the bed, they put a big light panel decorated with banana leaves image that enhances their beauty of nature theme.
I think the room itself is quite spacious; we had a big wardrobe on our room entrance with big wall to wall mirror. In front of our queen bed, there’s a long leather bench, and a modern curvy sofa, a big desk, and a cute light green furry stool. This room also has a small balcony overlooking their main pool. The bathroom is not too big and not fancy, but it’s clean and has a bathtub with shower.
Facilities
As I mentioned earlier they have a kids club and small playground near the lobby. This kids club was set with rainforest theme, all green with lots of pictures of jungle animals. In the kids club, they provide small playground with slide and swing, lots of children toys, TV with some kids’ channels option and PS console game; and they also have some arts and crafts activities. Every morning children can also play with their mascot orangutan called OTA.

This kids club was sits next to their kids’ pool with less than 1m depth, it’s quite safe for the little ones to swim and play here. Aside from this kids pool they also have the main pool which located quite near to our room. Near the main pool they have a bar, pool table and dart board for recreation; here they also held some daily afternoon activities like Zumba, acoustic performance, fire dance, Balinese dance and much more.

Dining
Their all-day dining restaurant was located on the 2nd floor called Paradisus Gourmet where they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for their hotel and walk-in guests. It has casual ambiance, with indoor and outdoor deck area which suits for afternoon or evening chillax under the sky.

The Paradisus Gourmet serves wide range international food from various salad and entrée selections, interesting kids menu, main courses, to their sweet desserts temptations. One of our favorite dishes here is their Beef Rendang, it was so tender and have really rich flavors.
They also have Sunken Pool Bar located next to the main pool; here they served light snacks to accompany your afternoon cocktail while swimming or playing pools and dart with friends.

As for their regular event they also have BBQ night next to the main pool every Friday accompanied with acoustic live performance. It was a relaxing dinner under the stars with some catchy tunes playing on the background.

Regarding the service they have amazing friendly and attentive staff, for example during busy breakfast time we couldn’t find a table to seat on, they were quickly reacted once there was an empty table they quickly clean it up and set the table for us. Also there’s another occasion where my son want some chocolate cereal for breakfast but they don’t have it, so he ask one of the staff for it and they willingly to get a bowl of cereal for him from the kitchen no matter how busy they were. For us it was a big point to have that kind of service during the peak hour.
And as for the room is quite cozy, but at night I can hear people walking or talking on the hall; luckily it doesn’t last long. So overall we had a really pleasant stay at Eden Hotel Kuta. Thank you for having us!
