What’s for lunch? For me it’s kind a like the hardest question to answer, here’s an option that might interest you. If you’ve been following our blog from the 1^st year you might know that this place is one of our favorite breakfast spot in Canggu area, yes it’s Milk & Madu café that’s located in Jalan Pantai Berawa Canggu.

People come here either with their friends, family or sometimes just wanna be alone and do some work on their laptop, either way this cafe is like a comfort zone for everyone. For those who bring their kids (like me) their kids will have a space in the lawn to play with some toys to play with, if you come with friends and family, their comfy and warm ambiance what makes Milk & Madu a cozy cafe to spend your quality time. Or for those who come here alone, this cafe can be like a sanctuary to spend some me time.

To be honest it’s my first time to try their lunch menu, I bet it would be as interesting as what they served for breakfast. I notice some salads options, burgers and wraps on the list, also some delectable lasagna, flat bread pizza and quiches.

Burger is definitely something simple and fast for lunch, just grabs, bite and munch. Like their Tempura Soft Shell Crab Burger (90K) an Asian inspired burger filled with crispy tempura soft shell crab, sriracha mayo, and Asian slaw with fresh coriander that adds some distinct, spicy and tasty flavors underneath those soft brioche buns.

Roast Lamb Marinated Aubergine Wrap (90K) it’s a tortilla wrap filled with roast lamb, aubergine, mint, cucumber, aioli, feta cheese and red onion. I can feel the exotic taste, hint minty taste and the pungent cheese flavors in this wrap.

For some people who love all day breakfast menu, this café can be an alternative. Milk and Madu were known for their hearty, healthy, fresh breakfast menu and surely irresistible. It also comes with a generous portion that would suit for lunch too. Some beautiful poached egg menus are definitely not only look good in pictures but also worth to try. Like this Beans on Toast (70K), basically this is a baked beans with rich tomato sauce with rosemary aroma and a hint of spiciness on top of a toast then topped with poached eggs, shaved Parmesan.

As always I never forget to take a peek at their showcase to satisfy my sweet tooth, just a slice of sweet and salty Chocolate Caramel Slice (40K) to accompany my cappuccino or for a healthier option like this Chia Pudding (45K) that has a creamy texture with sweet, sour and tropical coconut flavor.

For lunch in the showcase aside from the delectable deserts they also serves varies of lasagnas and flat bread pizzas. I picked their homey and comforting Spinach Mushroom Lasagna (40K) and their rustic Mushroom Bacon Flat Bread Pizza (30K) from the showcase and both taste wonderful.

Ok, so now I have another café on my list for an enjoyable lunch on a cozy environment, how about you?
