The Kana, Family Friendly Hotel

The Kana Hotel Kuta, strategically located near Simpang Siur that connects Kuta, Seminyak, Sanur and Denpasar area. Still being part of Kuta area that’s been known as tourist area in Bali. Beaches, surfing schools, shopping arcades and malls, restaurants, spas and bars are some attractions that tourist can find in Kuta that can be reached within a short drive from the hotel.

Luckily the traffic on the way to the hotel was great, we didn’t get caught in any traffic jam. And as we arrive on the front office table for checked-in, their staffs friendly welcome us and serves us some refreshing welcome drinks and snacks.

Once the room settled, we directly headed to our Family Duplex room. Suitable for family travelers since it can accommodate up to 4 person. The whole room has minimalist interior with earth tone color that brings warm and cozy ambiance to this room. It has twin bed on the first floor with a small table and a chair on the side, LCD TV and en suite bathroom with standing showers, hair dryer and fresh towels. Heading to the second floor there’s a king size bed and its own LCD TV (that means a bit of privacy for the parent 🙂 LOL).

Swimming pool located on the 1^st floor besides the Gym, for those who love to keep in shape during their holiday :). Spend my afternoon accompanying my son swimming or just laying around on the sunbed while sipping some refreshments sounds like a good idea to relax. And as for the little ones, they also have an interesting kids corner that would keep them entertain. Clean and cool kids’ corner, equipped with some educational toys, good books to read (even I enjoy my time reading some comic books here 🙂 ), small slides and swings, stationary and some activity papers surely keeps my little T occupied.

Seleriana were the all-day dining restaurant situated by the pool. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with wide choices of Halal Western and Asian food. Appetizing dishes with authentic taste serves here all day, such as their Roasted Peking Duck (95K), Sate (65K) with choices of fish or chicken skewers serves with traditional peanut sauce or sambal matah or their delicious Italian cuisine Pollo Fartico Ala Crema (85K).

One of their regular event here every Friday night is all you can eat BBQ buffet dinner by the pool with only IDR 160K net / person for the dinner buffet include a glass of wine.

Breakfast buffet also something that I love here, with wide range of breakfast buffet from fruits, salads, baked goods, cereals, Asian and western delicacies, also made to order hot dishes such as egg stations and noodle stations. Occasionally they also serve special menus such as traditional Indonesian yellow rice complete with its condiments like fried chicken, eggs, serundeng (spiced and grated coconut) and many more.
